  14. Get 1 bunch Garlic chives
  15. Get 1 or 2 blocks Tofu
  16. Make ready 1 Enoki mushrooms, bean sprouts, napa cabbage
  17. Get 1 Daikon radish, carrot, Japanese leeks
  18. Prepare 1 Sesame oil
  19. Prepare 1 tsp Chinese soup stock

Steps to make My Family's Superb Kimchi Hot Pot:
  1. Cut the pork into 4-5 cm lengths. Mix all ★ ingredients and grated garlic and use mixture to marinate pork for 15 minutes.
  2. Cut the vegetables to your liking. Cut tofu into 6 or 8 pieces.
  3. Squeeze the liquid out of the kimchi and save. Mix all ☆ ingredients in a bowl.
  4. Heat an earthen pot with sesame oil (1 tablespoon) and cook the pork.
  5. Add sesame oil to Step 4, add kimchi from Step 3, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add sake, water, kimchi liquid, and Chinese soup stock to Step 5, and after it boils, add tofu and cores of Chinese cabbage. Continue cooking.
  7. Add the ☆ ingredients and salt to Step 6, and add the rest of vegetables (add Chinese chives, leek, the leaves of Chinese cabbage and enoki mushrooms in the end, because they cook the quickest).
  8. I also added Chinese soup stock in the ingredients. You don't have to, but if the kimchi lacks flavor, it'll be good to add it.

Grains can be excellent for overcoming a terrible mood. Barley, quinoa, millet, teff, etc are all good for helping you feel happier. They help you feel full as well which can actually help to improve your mood. Feeling famished can be a real downer! The reason these grains elevate your mood is that they are easy for your stomach to digest. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps promote a rise in your blood sugar which in turn takes your mood to a happier place.

Your mood can actually be helped by green tea. You just knew green tea had to be mentioned, right? Green tea has a lot of an amino acid known as L-theanine. Studies have shown that this amino acid basically induces brain waves. This helps raise your mental acuity while having a relaxing effect on the rest of your body. You already knew green tea could help you feel healthier. Now you are aware that green tea helps you to elevate your moods also!
