Steps to make Tembleque:
  1. Combine the milk and the cream of coconut in a cooking pot. Do not turn on the stove yet.
  2. Add the corn starch, sugar, salt and vanilla. Start cooking slowly in a low-med temperature. Stir using a small whisk.
  3. Continue cooking and whisking the batter in a low-med temperature until it thickens.
  4. Remove from the burner and put the batter in a 9 inch mold or 5 to 6 (4oz) soufflé cups. Let it sit for 30 mins before put it/them on the fridge.
  5. Refrigerate for about 4 to 6 hours. Garnish with cinnamon before serving. Enjoy!!! 😊

It’s not hard to drive away your bad mood when you are eating grains. Quinoa, barley, millet, etc are excellent at helping you be happier. These grains can help you feel full for longer too, which can help your mood too. Feeling famished can really bring you down! The reason these grains are so wonderful for your mood is that they are easy for your body to digest and process. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps jumpstart a rise in your glucose levels which in turn takes your mood to a happier place.

Green tea is truly excellent for your mood. You knew it had to be in here somewhere, right? Green tea is loaded with a particular amino acid known as L-theanine. Studies have found that this specific amino acid can essentially stimulate brain waves. This helps improve your mental energy while simultaneously relaxing the rest of your body. You probably already knew it is not hard to get healthy when you consume green tea. And now you are aware that green tea can help improve your mood as well!
