It’s not hard to drive away your bad mood when you consume grains. Barley, quinoa, millet, teff, etc are all excellent for helping you feel happier. They can help you feel full for longer too, which can help your mood too. It’s easy to feel depressed when you are starving! The reason these grains help your mood so much is that they are easy for your body to digest. They are simpler to digest than other foods which helps kick up your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, elevates your mood.
Your mood could really be helped by green tea. You were simply expecting to read that here, weren’t you? Green tea is high in a certain amino acid referred to as L-theanine. Studies have found that this amino acid essentially stimulates brain waves. This will improve your brain’s focus while also relaxing the rest of your body. You probably already knew how easy it is to get healthy when you drink green tea. Now you know that applies to your mood as well!
So you see, you don’t need to stuff your face with junk food when you are wanting to feel better! Try a few of these suggestions instead.
